Meet Katy Loeb

katy loeb certified rolfer

I first tried Rolfing® as a graduate student in Art History & Arts Administration. Installing exhibitions and writing essays crunched over a desk exacerbated painful habitual patterns. After a few sessions I felt far less pain and more balanced. I signed up for a Ten-Series®, and by the end I felt stronger, more confident and supported by my body. After wearing podiatrist prescribed orthotics for 20+ years, I no longer needed them!

My self-discovery process just didn’t square with my desk job, so I took the plunge. In July 2019 I completed my training at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute. I continue to feed my curiosity through continuing education classes, including advanced study in: nerves, vasculature, viscera (organs!), scar tissue, and movement repatterning. I am honored to help my clients reach their goals to be free from pain, move with more ease and improved posture, recover from surgery, and learn a lot about their bodies along the way!

When I'm not at work, I am doing the parent thing with my spirited 3 year old! I love to read and have a nice stack of books going at all times. I am a very new gardener--all advice welcome!
